Judy Willis

Judy Willis’ passion for art is expressed through her watercolor paintings of the local Monterey area. Since studying with marine artist Bennett Bradbury in 1988, her passion for seascapes and landscapes still captures her imagination.

Over the years, she has explored various mediums: acrylic, oil, pastel, and ink.

She has participated in national art competitions and placed in local art shows. She was one of the initial artists at the first Monterey Bay Artisans Gallery in the American Tin Cannery, Pacific Grove CA. In Salinas, she has also shown at the Steinbeck Gallery and Sansonnsi Gallery.

Currently, she exhibits in Reflections Elegante, in local businesses and fundraising events.

She continues to provide the viewer with a sense of escape and serenity through the use of soft colors and local impressions. Member of the Carmel Art Association, Salinas Valley Art Association, Central Coast Art Association and Coastal Colors Plein Air Artists.
